Coil's Base

Location from Worm by Wildbow

An underground bunker complex hidden beneath Brockton Bay. Coil's secret headquarters, staffed by mercenaries and built with stolen PRT resources. Where he keeps Dinah Alcott captive.

Coil's base represents his true nature — meticulous, controlling, and hidden. Built using resources and knowledge from his time as a PRT officer, the underground complex rivals anything the official heroes have. Mercenary soldiers patrol in shifts. The command center monitors feeds from across the city. But the base's darkest feature is the room where Dinah Alcott is kept — kidnapped for her precognitive powers, drugged to ensure compliance, forced to answer probability questions that guide Coil's schemes. The Undersiders don't know the full extent of what happens down here. Coil maintains the base across his split timelines, using it as the anchor point for his power — collapsing whichever reality goes worse. The air is recycled and sterile. It feels like being inside someone's obsessive need for control.

Appearance

A sprawling underground facility accessed through concealed entrances. Concrete corridors with fluorescent lighting connect barracks, armories, a command center with multiple screens, medical facilities, and holding cells. The architecture is utilitarian military — clean lines, heavy doors, no windows. Everything is organized with military precision.
