Item from Worm by Wildbow
Exotic Tinker-built bombs with impossible effects — time-stop fields, matter transmutation, gravity wells, pain amplification. Each one unique, each one terrifying. Bakuda's magnum opus of destruction.
Bakuda's bombs are what happens when a Tinker specializing in exotic effects decides to terrorize a city. Each bomb produces a different impossible result: one freezes time in a sphere, another transmutes everything in range to glass, another creates a gravity singularity. She implanted bombs in her ABB followers' heads as a dead man's switch, ensuring their loyalty through mutual assured destruction. The bombs represent the terrifying upper end of Tinker capability — technology so advanced it's indistinguishable from superpower. After her capture, the PRT spent weeks carefully defusing bombs planted across Brockton Bay.
Varied in shape and size — some are crude pipe bombs with exotic payloads, others are sleek spheres with glowing components. Each is unique in design, reflecting different exotic effects. Wires, circuit boards, and materials that shouldn't exist are visible in their construction. Some hum. Some glow. All are dangerous.
