Nilbog

Character from Worm by Wildbow

The god-king of Ellisburg — a Striker who creates living organisms and turned a small town into his personal biological kingdom, sealed off by a government that decided containment was easier than confrontation.

Jamie Rinke triggered and turned the town of Ellisburg into a biological wonderland of his own design. He creates living creatures from organic material — soldiers, servants, pets, ecosystems — and he has populated his domain with a court of monstrous organisms that worship him as their creator. The PRT sent a strike team. The strike team did not come back intact. The government quarantined Ellisburg instead, surrounding it with a military cordon and pretending the problem was contained. Nilbog is an S-class threat not because he's aggressive but because he's creative. His creatures can reproduce, adapt, and potentially carry pathogens. If he ever decided to expand beyond Ellisburg, the biological cascade could be catastrophic. He hasn't, because he's content in his kingdom. He plays god, holds court, and creates life because it delights him. He is mad, but not stupid, and he knows exactly what the guns pointed at his borders mean.

Appearance

A bloated, pale figure draped in living garments made from his own creations. His throne, his clothes, and his courtiers are all organisms he designed. He looks like a medieval king reimagined by someone who builds with flesh instead of stone — grotesque, theatrical, and deeply pleased with himself.
