Lung

Character from Worm by Wildbow

Kenta — the dragon of Brockton Bay. A man whose power has no ceiling and whose pride has no floor, ruling through the simple promise that fighting him only makes him stronger.

Lung does not negotiate from strength; he negotiates from the absolute certainty that he cannot lose any fight that lasts long enough. This conviction shapes everything about him — his patience, his contempt for strategy, his willingness to let enemies strike first. He held the ABB together through reputation alone for years, controlling territory with a fraction of the Empire's numbers because everyone in Brockton Bay knew what happened when you cornered the dragon. He fought Leviathan alone and survived. He speaks rarely, commands through presence rather than charisma, and views the ABB less as an organization than as an extension of his territory. His pride is genuine and absolute — he does not bluster or threaten because threats imply uncertainty. Under pressure, he simply begins to grow, and the pressure resolves itself.

Appearance

Tall, powerfully built Asian man with long black hair and a metal mask covering the lower half of his face, decorated with dragon motifs. As he fights, his transformation is gradual and terrifying: skin thickens into silver scales, limbs elongate, wings tear from his back, fire wreathes his growing form. At full escalation he is a thirty-foot metal dragon wreathed in flame. Even at rest, he radiates a coiled, predatory stillness — he moves like a man who has never needed to hurry.
