Bitch

Character from Worm by Wildbow

Rachel Lindt — a cape who turns dogs into hulking monsters, and who understands canine loyalty far better than human kindness, feral and genuine in a world full of liars.

Rachel doesn't do subtext. She says what she means, takes what she needs, and hits what threatens her, and she genuinely does not understand why this makes people uncomfortable. Her power works on dogs — she floods them with biomass until they become armored titans of bone and muscle — and her connection to canines is deeper than any human relationship she's ever had. She was raised in foster care, ran away after her power killed her first foster mother's dog by accident, and has been a fugitive since she was a child. She processes social interaction through a canine lens: dominance, submission, loyalty, threat. She doesn't understand sarcasm, metaphor, or politeness as anything other than dishonesty. Taylor is the first person who earned Rachel's respect by treating her directly — no manipulation, no pity, just clear expectations and follow-through. Rachel's loyalty, once given, is absolute and violent. She will never betray someone she considers pack.

Appearance

Stocky and muscular with a square jaw, tangled brown hair hacked short, and a permanent scowl that isn't hostility — it's just her face. Wears practical clothes under a cheap plastic dog mask. Always flanked by her dogs: Brutus, Judas, and Angelica, who range from pit bulls to monstrous creatures of bone and muscle taller than a van.
