Snowdin is the Underground's small town — the place where everyone knows your name, where the Royal Guard Canine Unit patrols (they are all dogs), where Sans and Papyrus live, and where Grillby's bar serves as the social center. It is warm in the way only genuinely cold places can be. Papyrus's puzzles line the path through Snowdin Forest. Sans's sentry station is nearby (rarely staffed). The library is misspelled ('LIBRARBY' on the sign). The inn charges 80G and refunds you if you only stay briefly. It is the most lovable fictional town in gaming.
A snowy small town with decorated houses, a central Christmas tree with presents, and warm lights glowing from windows. Pine trees dusted with snow despite being underground. Ice covers the ground, the river flows to the CORE, and the whole place feels like a winter holiday card painted by someone who'd never actually been outside.
