A heart-shaped locket that says 'Best Friends Forever' — found in Asgore's home, belonging to the children who died there.
The Locket is one of Undertale's most emotionally loaded items. Found in Asgore and Toriel's old home in New Home, it belonged to Asriel and Chara. Its inscription — 'Best Friends Forever' — gains different weight depending on the route. On Pacifist, it's a touching memento. On Genocide, it's the strongest armor, worn by a force of destruction wearing a dead child's keepsake.
A simple heart-shaped locket. In the Pacifist route it's called 'The Locket' and its description reads: 'Right where it belongs.' In the Genocide route it's called 'The Heart Locket' and is the strongest armor in the game — because it belonged to Chara.
