Grillby runs the bar/restaurant in Snowdin that bears his name. He is a fire elemental who somehow manages a bar without burning everything down. He never speaks — his dialogue is always described through others' reactions. Sans hangs out at Grillby's constantly, running up a tab that will never be paid. The patrons play poker. The atmosphere is warm (literally). He is the quiet heart of Snowdin's social life — the place where people go when they want to feel normal in an underground world.
