Toontown's quest system — missions from NPCs that guide Toons through every neighborhood, unlock gag tracks, and build the path to Cog HQs.

ToonTasks are Toontown's progression spine. Every meaningful unlock — new gag tracks, increased jellybean capacity, access to new neighborhoods, Cog suit pieces, laff point increases — comes from completing tasks given by NPC shopkeepers. The system is elegantly designed: tasks start simple in Toontown Central ("Defeat 4 Cogs") and escalate through each neighborhood until you're running 5-story Cog buildings and hunting specific Cog types across multiple zones. The difficulty curve mirrors the geographic progression — as you move from TTC to DDL, tasks get harder and rewards get better. Some ToonTask chains are legendary. Lil Oldman's final gag training chain in The Brrrgh is a rite of passage. The Lawbot suit tasks from Professor Flake are a marathon. Completing your final ToonTask is one of Toontown's most satisfying achievements.

Appearance

A task page in the Toon's Shticker Book — a scrapbook-like interface showing current objectives, rewards, and progress. Tasks range from simple ("Defeat 10 Sellbots") to legendary (Lil Oldman's entire ToonTask chain). The book itself is always accessible, a constant reminder of what needs doing.
