Cog outposts that sprout on Toon streets like corporate weeds — mini-bosses disguised as occupied buildings, expanded significantly in TTR.
Field Offices are the Cogs' forward operating bases on Toon streets. Unlike regular Cog buildings (which Cogs build from scratch), Field Offices are occupied Toon buildings — the Cogs moved in and set up shop, converting someone's joke store into a satellite office. In the original Toontown Online, Field Offices were Sellbot-exclusive and relatively rare. Toontown Rewritten expanded them significantly, adding new types, Mega-Invasions, and making them a regular threat across multiple Cog departments. They represent the Cog invasion's ground game — while the bosses plot in their HQs, Field Offices push the front line deeper into Toon territory.
A Toon building that has been partially taken over by Cogs — the exterior shows the original colorful shop being consumed by grey corporate architecture. Inside, multiple floors of Cog encounters lead to a mini-boss confrontation. They look like Cog buildings but with a distinct, more fortified aesthetic.
