The Sellbots

Character from Toontown by Disney / Toontown Rewritten Team

Slick, oily sales robots in dark brown suits — the most common Cog type and the first department every Toon learns to fight.

Sellbots are the art of the deal made mechanical. They're slick, persistent, and everywhere — more Field Offices, more street presence, more ways to annoy Toons than any other department. Their attacks are social manipulation made literal: Schmooze, Power Trip, Guilt Trip, Synergy. The corporate ladder runs from Cold Caller (level 1, barely a threat) to Mr. Hollywood (level 12, a genuine menace). The progression tells a story: you start as a nobody making cold calls and end as a celebrity who commands rooms. The VP sits at the top, promoting from within. Sellbots dominate Oak Street in Daisy Gardens (85%), Elm Street (70%), and have significant presence in Alto Avenue and other streets. They're the first Cog type most Toons learn to recognize and the first HQ most Toons enter.

Appearance

Dark brown tartan-patterned suits with white collar shirts unbuttoned at the neck — no tie, casual corporate. All Sellbots have pink hands (except Cold Callers, who have blue). The top five Cogs on the ladder are always smiling with teeth showing; the bottom three frown. Their insignia is a bar graph symbol.
