The western continent — kingdoms, crusades, and Half-Elven forests. The most 'medieval European' continent, where [Knights] still ride and the old order clings to power.
Terandria is where the [Knights] come from. The western continent is a patchwork of Human kingdoms, Terandrian duchies, and ancient Half-Elven forests, organized around feudal hierarchies, chivalric orders, and the kind of political intrigue that involves poison at banquets and armies at borders. It's the continent that colonized northern Izril, sent crusaders to Chandrar, and generally behaves as though being the most 'traditional' means being the most important. The kingdoms of Terandria produce [Knights], [Princesses], and the occasional [Hero] in the classical mold. The Half-Elves maintain ancient forests and keep their own counsel. The Terandrian crusades — military expeditions to other continents — have left a legacy of resentment that colors diplomatic relations to this day. Terandria is powerful, proud, and increasingly aware that the world has been changing without its permission.
