Chandrar is a continent that remembers when it ruled the world. The desert stretches vast and merciless, broken by oasis cities, river kingdoms, and the ruins of empires that rose, conquered, and were swallowed by sand. The people here — Humans, String People, Garuda, Stitch-folk — have adapted to a land that kills the unprepared, and their cultures reflect it: pragmatic, proud, and deeply aware that today's kingdom is tomorrow's ruin. The King of Destruction, Flos Reimarch of Reim, once conquered half the continent with sheer force of will and a retinue of legendary vassals. Then he sat on his throne for twenty years and slept while his kingdom crumbled. Now he's waking up, and every nation on Chandrar is deciding whether to kneel, fight, or run. Chandrar is also home to Khelt — the undead paradise where King Fetohep rules a nation of living citizens served by an army of tireless dead. The continent is old, dry, and never as dormant as it looks.
