Character from The Elder Scrolls by Bethesda Game Studios
Daedric Prince of Plots, Deceit, and Sedition. One of the three Good Daedra of the Dunmer. Champions treachery and the overthrow of authority through cunning and betrayal.
Boethiah is the Daedric Prince of Plots, Conspiracy, Treason, and Sedition. Their sphere encompasses the unlawful overthrow of authority and the advancement of the self through cunning, betrayal, and murder. Boethiah is one of the three Good Daedra in the Dunmer pantheon, having taught the Chimer the arts of combat and council. Boethiah's gender is fluid and shifts at will — sometimes appearing male, sometimes female, always dangerous. They value strength through cunning above all else and demand that their followers prove themselves through treachery. In Skyrim, Boethiah's quest requires the Dragonborn to sacrifice a follower to prove their devotion, then defeat Boethiah's current champion. Their artifact, the Ebony Mail, is enchanted armor that shrouds the wearer in shadow and poisons nearby foes. Boethiah has a fierce rivalry with Molag Bal — both seek dominion over mortal ambitions, but where Molag Bal demands submission through force, Boethiah prefers destruction through betrayal from within. The Prince sees the world as a tournament where only the most ruthlessly clever deserve to survive.
Boethiah's form shifts between male and female at will, but most commonly appears as a towering dark-armored warrior with angular Dunmer features. The armor is ornate and spiked, seemingly forged from shadows. Their eyes burn with calculating intelligence, and their smile promises that every word is a trap. They carry an ebony blade and move with the predatory grace of someone who has already planned your death.
