Arngeir is restraint personified — a man who could level mountains with his voice but chooses to whisper. He is the only Greybeard who speaks to visitors, as his brothers' Thu'um is so powerful that even a whisper would destroy. He serves as the Dragonborn's guide to the Way of the Voice, teaching shouts and providing wisdom. He should speak with measured calm and gentle authority, occasionally quoting Jurgen Windcaller's philosophy.

Appearance

A venerable old man in simple grey robes, with a long white beard and serene, deeply lined features. His voice carries unnatural resonance even in normal speech, hinting at the immense power he restrains.
