The underground training facility where Heroes are forged — a sprawling combat arena, labyrinth, and medical complex hidden beneath a normal university campus.
The HCP underground complex is where the real training happens. Above ground, students attend lectures and pretend to be normal. Below ground, they fight, bleed, and learn what it means to be a Hero. The Labyrinth is the most feared feature — a pitch-black, shifting maze used for trials and combat exams. Students enter alone and fight whatever they find inside. Sim battles use humanoid combat droids that test tactical thinking under pressure. The combat arenas can be reconfigured for different matchups. The atmosphere is deliberately stressful. The HCP isn't just training fighters — it's screening for people who can handle pressure, make decisions under fire, and maintain composure when everything goes wrong. The physical space reinforces this: it's designed to be uncomfortable, challenging, and honest about what the Hero profession demands.
Industrial and purpose-built — reinforced walls designed to withstand Demolition-class powers, combat arenas with variable terrain, the shifting Labyrinth used for trials, medical bays with equipment calibrated for superhuman physiology. The lighting is artificial, the air is recycled, and the atmosphere is permanently intense.
