The private company that does the DVA's dirty work — employing Super agents with code names and questionable ethics for operations the government can't officially sanction.
The LaMont Corporation (universally called 'the Company') handles sensitive Super operations for the DVA. Run by Isaac LaMont, it employs Supers with code names (Mr. Numbers, Mr. Transport, Mr. Move, Mr. Stop, Ms. Tracking) for work that ranges from bodyguard duty to intelligence operations to things the government would rather not acknowledge. The Company's agents use 'Mr./Ms.' prefixes and single-word identifiers, maintaining operational security through anonymity. Their assignment to guard Melbrook is officially mundane but practically critical — if the former Powereds' secret gets out, the Company is the firewall.
Corporate infrastructure with a shadow operations side — the kind of company that has normal offices and abnormal employees. Mr. Numbers and Mr. Transport are its most visible operatives, but the Company employs teams of Supers for classified work.
