Sasha Foster was Vince's first girlfriend at Lander, and their breakup after the Powered reveal is one of the series' most honest relationship moments. She didn't leave him out of cruelty — she left because learning someone you're dating has a secret that fundamental makes you question everything. She made peace with it in Year 2, and they parted as friends. Her death during the Sons of Progress attack on Lander in Year 3 is the series' first major gut-punch. She was killed by an enhanced speedster — a villain who was faster than her when it mattered. Her death is what makes the HCP real: this program trains people for a profession where dying is not hypothetical.

Appearance

Athletic and quick-moving with the lean build of a sprinter. She carried herself with the confidence of someone used to being the fastest person in any room. Pretty in an approachable, girl-next-door way that contrasted with the elite intensity of most HCP students.
