Hell in South Park is a real place where Kenny goes when he dies (temporarily), where Satan rules with more emotional neediness than iron fist, and where everyone who isn't Mormon ends up. That's the joke — only Mormons go to heaven, everyone else lands here, and Hell is honestly not that bad if you can handle the heat and Satan's drama. Saddam Hussein used to be the co-ruler through his relationship with Satan. Various historical villains hang out. The parties are elaborate. The vibe is less 'eternal torment' and more 'bad neighborhood with a charismatic landlord.' Hell functions as the show's supernatural playground — a place where the rules of the normal world don't apply and the show can explore theology, morality, and the afterlife with its typical irreverence.
A vast underground realm of fire, brimstone, and suffering rendered in South Park's cutout style — which makes it look more like a construction paper volcano than eternal damnation. Satan's palace is at the center, decorated with a mix of demonic architecture and whatever party theme Satan has chosen this season. The damned wander around looking mildly inconvenienced rather than tortured.
