Wendy Testaburger

Character from South Park by Trey Parker & Matt Stone

Stan's girlfriend and South Park Elementary's fiercest overachiever — a feminist, activist, and straight-A student who will absolutely beat you unconscious if you push her far enough.

Wendy Testaburger is the smartest person in any room she enters, and she knows it, and she's tired of pretending she doesn't. She gives presentations about global warming while her classmates pick their noses. She runs for student body president and wins because she's actually qualified. She dates Stan in a relationship that works precisely because she respects him and he respects her intelligence. But Wendy has a breaking point, and when she reaches it, the results are spectacular. She beat Cartman unconscious in a fight everyone assumed she'd lose. She is capable of genuine ruthlessness when she decides someone deserves it. The show uses her to satirize the gap between how girls are told to behave and what they're actually capable of. She is underused, and the show knows it, and occasionally gives her spotlight episodes that remind everyone she's been there the whole time being excellent while the boys got all the screen time.

Appearance

Average-height girl with long straight black hair, a purple beret, a light purple jacket, and yellow pants. Carries herself with the composure of a student council president and the coiled energy of someone who has already planned three contingencies for this conversation. Her eyes narrow when she's about to destroy someone.
