The South Park movie made her the primary antagonist — a mother whose campaign against cartoon profanity literally starts a war with Canada. It's the show's thesis statement about moral panic: the people trying to protect children from offensive content are more dangerous than the content itself. She loves Kyle fiercely and embarrasses him constantly. Her intentions are genuine. Her execution is catastrophic. She is every helicopter parent with a platform, amplified to the point of satire.
