Usagi's transformation item — a heart-shaped brooch that houses the Silver Crystal and activates Sailor Moon when she shouts 'Moon Prism Power, Make Up!'

The transformation brooch is both a tool and a symbol — it's what Luna gave Usagi in episode one and what defined every transformation sequence thereafter. Each evolution reflects a growth point: new powers, harder enemies, a Usagi who is becoming something more than she was. The brooch was taken from her once by Sailor Uranus, which was a significant violation and a deliberate power play. She got it back.

Appearance

A heart-shaped brooch with a glowing gem at the center that houses the Silver Crystal. It evolves across the series — from the original Moon Prism compact to the Crystal Star to later forms — growing in power as Usagi does.
