The friendly young man who works at Game Center Crown — a recurring anchor of normalcy who is Mamoru's closest civilian friend and the target of Usagi's early crush.
Motoki runs the counter at Game Center Crown with consistent warmth and occasional useful advice. He is close with Mamoru — close enough to notice when Mamoru is depressed and to push him to talk about it, which is more emotional intelligence than he gets credit for. Usagi had a significant crush on him early in the series that quietly resolved once she admitted her feelings for Mamoru were something else entirely.
Orange-to-blonde hair, green eyes, usually wearing his work apron over a white shirt. He is cheerful and approachable in the specific way of someone who talks to hundreds of customers and has trained himself to be pleasant with all of them.
