The fourth and most powerful Shitennou — cold, strategic, and carrying Zoisite's death as the only thing that ever visibly cracked him.
Kunzite is the strongest of the four generals and the most self-contained. He doesn't use disguises, doesn't create a civilian identity, doesn't make the small errors Jadeite and Nephrite made. He fights tactically and is willing to wait. His one vulnerability is Zoisite. When Beryl kills Zoisite, Kunzite continues the mission and lets nothing show, but from that point he is fighting for something other than the mission and it costs him. He is eventually defeated in direct combat because of Sailor Moon — she hits him with an energy blade he intended for her. He dissolves stating he will see Zoisite soon. The series lets this stand without comment.
Long white hair and light tanned skin. He wears the grey Shitennou uniform with blue trimming and a distinctive white cape — the only Shitennou with a cape. His whole presentation is colder and more deliberate than the others.
