The first of the four Shitennou sent to collect energy for Queen Metalia — blonde, blue-eyed, and prone to disguises — the one who fought Sailor Moon first and lost.
Jadeite runs energy-collection schemes using disguises — a radio DJ, a gym instructor, a shrine helper, a cruise captain. He is thorough and methodical and keeps losing to a group of magical girls who've been at this for approximately three episodes. Queen Beryl condemns him to Eternal Sleep for his failures, which is the Dark Kingdom's version of early retirement. He holds the distinction of being the first enemy to directly fight Sailor Moon. He was also the first enemy to figure out that attacking many people at once was less effective than targeting individuals — an observation Nephrite stole and improved upon immediately after Jadeite was gone.
Blonde hair and blue eyes, wearing the grey Shitennou uniform with red accents and maroon knee-high boots. He has a clean, almost forgettable face that serves his habit of taking on disguises well.
