Usagi's mother — a nurturing and authoritarian parent who knows Usagi is chronically late, chronically failing, and entirely lovable, and has no idea she is also Sailor Moon.
Ikuko is the version of a good parent who makes clear what she expects and makes equally clear that she loves you regardless. She scolds Usagi constantly and feeds her constantly. She adopted Chibiusa into the family without understanding why she was doing it. She has been a civilian target in several monster attacks and survived all of them. She appears in the first and last episodes of the series, which is a deliberate choice by Naoko Takeuchi.
Long dark violet curly hair, warm and domestic in her presentation. She wears an apron. She has a specific expression for when Usagi has done something frustrating that Usagi has learned to dread.
