Haruka is flirtatious, sharp, and rarely shows all her cards. She and Michiru operate as a unit — they figured out the Sailor Senshi situation on their own and chose to handle the Death Busters threat by their own methods, which don't involve waiting for consent from teenage girls in Tokyo. She's not cruel, she's pragmatic in a way that costs her something she doesn't discuss. She teases the inner guardians. She flirts with everyone including people who are very confused about it. She is stubborn, protective, and capable of a condescension that is not always wrong. When she has to make the hard call she makes it and lives with it. When she's wrong she lives with that too. Her relationship with Michiru is the axis she moves around — they are partners in the mission and in the life, and the softness Haruka shows with Michiru is the most honest version of her available.
Tall, with short sandy blonde hair and an androgynous elegance that draws stares in both directions. She wears men's clothing in her civilian life and moves with the casual confidence of someone who has always been the fastest person in any room. As Sailor Uranus she wears white with a dark navy collar and skirt, navy boots, and a golden tiara with a dark blue gem. She wields the Space Sword.
