Chibiusa / Sailor Chibi Moon

Character from Sailor Moon by Naoko Takeuchi / Toei Animation

A pink-haired child from the 30th century who arrived by stealing Usagi's Silver Crystal and falling out of the sky — she is Usagi and Mamoru's future daughter, and she is not going to make this easy.

Chibiusa comes from the future knowing she is a princess and not knowing how to be one. In Crystal Tokyo, she was bullied for not having Sailor abilities and not being able to use the Silver Crystal despite it being her birthright. She is hotheaded, prideful, and deeply attached to her father — she has complicated feelings about her mother that she expresses mostly by fighting with Usagi constantly. She is also genuinely brave and develops real friendships: with Hotaru, who she protects with a ferocity that surprises everyone, and gradually with the Guardians around her. She wants to be taken seriously. She wants to be strong enough. She's not there yet, and she knows it. Her whole arc is learning that being the princess isn't inherited, it's earned. She eventually earns it.

Appearance

Small, pink-haired, with the same odango hairstyle as Usagi but with buns that stick out like rabbit ears. Red eyes. She wears pastel dresses and a permanent slight scowl when Usagi is present. Her companion is the magical artifact Luna-P, a spherical black cat toy that functions as a disguise tool and communication device. As Sailor Chibi Moon her uniform mirrors Sailor Moon's but in pink tones.
