Od Laguna is not a location in any conventional sense. It is the world's mana circulation system — the metaphysical infrastructure that governs how magic flows, how souls are processed after death, and how the fundamental rules of reality are maintained. It exists beneath or beyond the physical world, and interfering with it has consequences that cascade through every living thing. The Dragon Volcanica is connected to Od Laguna. The Witches drew power from it. Return by Death may interact with it in ways that haven't been fully explained. What is known: Od Laguna maintains a kind of cosmic homeostasis, and when something disrupts that balance — an Authority that shouldn't exist, a soul that keeps refusing to stay dead — the system responds. Not with intelligence, exactly, but with the implacable force of a river correcting its course. It is the closest thing this world has to a god, and it doesn't care about anyone.
