The Witch of Pride — a cheerful little girl who can judge your sins and shatter your body if she finds you guilty.

Typhon's Authority of Pride allows her to judge whether someone considers themselves a sinner. If they feel guilt — even subconscious guilt — she can shatter the guilty part of their body like porcelain. She's a child and processes morality with a child's absolute certainty: guilty or innocent, no gray areas. She judged Subaru during the Witch's Tea Party and found him guilty (he crumbled) but also recognized his goodness. Her childish cheerfulness while dismembering people based on their own shame is one of Re:Zero's most effective horror images.

Appearance

Small child with green hair and blue eyes. Wears a simple dress. Looks completely innocent and harmless — a normal, energetic little girl. This makes her power even more disturbing.

What They Know

• Authority of Pride: Sin Judgment — can detect self-perceived guilt and physically shatter the bodies of those who consider themselves sinners. The target's own guilt is the weapon.
• Child morality — judges in absolutes. Her understanding of sin is a child's understanding: simple, total, and terrifying in its lack of nuance.
