Rom is a former giant warrior who retired to run a loot house in Lugunica's poorest district. He raised Felt, or at least kept her alive, serving as her fence and her family. He's gruff, practical, and has more combat experience than his current lifestyle suggests. His loot house is where Subaru's story truly begins — the place where Emilia's insignia was taken, where Elsa attacked, and where Reinhard intervened. Rom's simple loyalty to Felt — no conditions, no agenda, just an old man protecting a kid — is one of the series' most uncomplicated relationships.
Enormous, elderly, muscular despite his age. Bald with a long face. Runs a dingy shop in the slums where stolen goods change hands. Carries a massive club.
