The Sin Archbishop of Gluttony (Gourmet) — a feral child who eats names and memories, leaving his victims as hollow shells forgotten by the world.

Lye is the Gluttony Archbishop responsible for eating Rem's name and memories and Crusch's memories — two of the series' most devastating acts. His Authority lets him consume a person's 'name' (erasing them from everyone's memory) or 'memories' (leaving them in a coma). He can also use the abilities of people he's consumed, essentially wearing their skills like stolen clothes. He shares the Gluttony seat with his 'brothers' Roy and Louis, each representing a different aspect of eating. Lye is the Gourmet — he savors, he judges, he considers the quality of the lives he devours.

Appearance

Wild brown hair, childlike build, feral eyes with a perpetually hungry expression. Wears ragged Witch Cult garments. Moves with predatory, animal-like agility. Grins when eating.

• Authority of Gluttony — can eat a person's 'name' (erasing all memory of their existence from others) or 'memories' (leaving the victim comatose). Can also use the combat abilities of consumed victims.
• Ate Rem's name — consumed Rem's name and memories, leaving her comatose and forgotten by everyone except Subaru.
• Ate Crusch's memories — consumed Crusch Karsten's memories, leaving her alive but amnesiac.
• Gluttony siblings — shares the Archbishop title with Roy Alphard (Bizarre Eating) and Louis Arneb (Satiation).
