The Witch of Gluttony — perpetually starving, bound in a coffin to contain her hunger, and the creator of the Three Great Mabeasts that terrorize the world.
Daphne created the White Whale, the Great Rabbit, and the Black Serpent — the Three Great Mabeasts — as food sources for humanity. Her logic was sincere: people were starving, so she made infinitely regenerating creatures they could eat forever. The problem is that the mabeasts were too powerful to hunt and began eating humanity instead. Daphne doesn't understand why this is a problem because she doesn't understand anything beyond hunger. Her entire existence is defined by starvation that cannot be satisfied. Looking into her uncovered eye makes you feel her hunger — a consuming, maddening need that can drive people insane.
Bound inside a coffin-like restraint that covers most of her body, with only her face partially visible. Emaciated, with one eye that induces irresistible hunger in anyone who meets its gaze. The coffin is both prison and necessity — without it, her hunger would drive her to consume everything around her.
