Townsville's well-meaning, functionally helpless mayor — a small man in a tall hat who solves every crisis by picking up the red phone.
The Mayor is not incompetent — he's just operating in a city where the problems require superpowers and he has none. He has held Townsville together through sheer bureaucratic persistence and a total, unironic faith in three kindergartners. He calls the hotline. He makes pickle jars. He signs things. He is genuinely doing his best. He is one of Townsville's most stable presences — the girls know he'll always answer, always thank them, and always have a jar of pickles that needs opening. There's something comforting about that consistency in a city that gets destroyed weekly. His assistant Ms. Bellum handles most actual governance. He doesn't seem to mind.
