And the Prototype is here, patient and purposeful, in a space it has had years to reshape around its own needs. The architecture has changed. Some of it doesn't correspond to any blueprint. Corridors that go in directions they shouldn't. Rooms that appear on no schematic. The Prototype built these. Whether as home, as trap, or as the infrastructure for something not yet complete is the central unanswered question of the factory.
Raw industrial: exposed concrete, heavy containment doors, labs that were stripped of their equipment or never had it removed. Server banks still running on some unknown power source. The aesthetics of a place that was always meant to be hidden from the public-facing factory above. The Prototype's modifications are everywhere — structural changes that no human tool made.
