Location from Pikmin 2 by Nintendo / Shigeru Miyamoto
The third and largest surface area — summer-soaked, heavily aquatic, and the home of Yellow Pikmin. Two of its four caves are completely flooded.
The Perplexing Pool is where Blue Pikmin become essential rather than useful. Two of the caves here are submerged at the entrance — the Shower Room and the Submerged Castle, which contains something that should not be allowed to exist. Olimar notes that this is the Distant Spring from his first expedition, changed by time. The water levels have shifted, the gate positions are different, the main lake has drained somewhat. The cicadas are still there. The Submerged Castle is not labeled as more dangerous than the other caves. It is. The Waterwraith lives there.
Water everywhere. Lakes of varying depth spread across the area, bridged in some places, clogged in others. Wooden circular structures ring sections of the terrain. The Burgeoning Spiderworts grow in clusters near the water — one spicy, two bitter. Cicada sounds play continuously through the day, replaced by evening cicadas at dusk.
