• Eight sublevels — requires Blue and Purple Pikmin to navigate fully
• The only cave in the game with two Exploration Kit upgrade items
• Boss is the Empress Bulblax, who births Bulborb Larva continuously during the fight
• Defeating the Empress Bulblax yields the Rush Boots (speed upgrade) from the Repugnant Appendage
• A Mamuta on an earlier sublevel guards the Brute Knuckles (Rocket Fist upgrade)
