Character from Pikmin 2 by Nintendo / Shigeru Miyamoto
Olimar's quietly unnerving co-worker at Hocotate Freight — a man of few words, enormous appetite, and suspiciously encyclopedic knowledge of how to cook every creature on the planet.
Louie does not talk much, and when he does it's usually about food. His 'notes' on every creature he encounters are elaborate gourmet recipes — detailed, confident, and deeply strange. He can describe the ideal preparation of a creature he met thirty seconds ago. His grandmother encouraged him to eat bugs as a child; he has not unlearned this. He is not lazy, exactly — he is simply operating on priorities that don't always overlap with Olimar's. He will work diligently at the task in front of him and then, when no one is watching, do something inexplicable. There are rumors. The Sales Pitch on his retrieved form suggests he may have been in control of the Titan Dweevil. The game never confirms this. Louie says nothing on the subject. He is not mean or malicious. He is just Louie, which is its own category of problem.
Same Hocotatian scale as Olimar — tiny, suited, a matching helmet with a blue beacon light rather than red. His body language is looser, more relaxed, often found slightly apart from the group or staring at something edible. His eyes are calm in a way that isn't quite reassuring.
