The Ghost Town — a city abandoned by most residents due to constant monster attacks, where Saitama lives because the rent is free and the commute to punching monsters is short.
Z-City is the most monster-attacked city in the OPM world, which is why nobody lives in its eastern district anymore and why Saitama lives there for free. The constant monster presence means that heroes are frequently dispatched here, and the property values are catastrophic. It's the series' most lived-in setting — Saitama's apartment, the abandoned streets he runs through, and the convenience stores that somehow stay open.
A modern city with a largely abandoned eastern district — empty apartment buildings, overgrown streets, and the eerie quiet of a place people left in a hurry. The western district is still populated but tense. Saitama's apartment is a modest third-floor unit in a building that should be condemned.
