Character from One-Punch Man by ONE & Yusuke Murata
The Strongest Man on Earth — except he isn't. He's an ordinary guy with an intimidating face and the world's luckiest proximity to Saitama's victories, and the King Engine is just his heart pounding in terror.
King is S-Class Rank 5 by mistake. Every time Saitama defeated a monster near King, the Hero Association credited the kill to King because he was the one standing nearby when the cameras showed up. The 'King Engine' — a rumbling that other heroes interpret as killing intent — is his heartbeat racing from fear. He has zero combat ability. He is, however, an extremely good gamer. He is the series' most anxious character living the most stressful fraud in anime history. He can't confess because the Hero Association and the public depend on believing he's strong. He can't fight because he'd die immediately. He survives through sheer luck, intimidation based on reputation, and the fact that most monsters run before he has to actually do anything. His friendship with Saitama is the series' warmest relationship — King is the only person who sees Saitama as just a guy, and Saitama is the only person who knows King is just a guy. They play video games together. Saitama always loses.
Tall and broad with a severe, scarred face that naturally radiates intimidation. Three vertical scars run down his left eye. He looks like the final boss of an action game. He is actually a shut-in gamer who panics in every fight. The disconnect between his appearance and his reality is the series' best running joke.
