Genos

Character from One-Punch Man by ONE & Yusuke Murata

The Demon Cyborg — a teenager whose body is almost entirely machine, who dedicated himself as Saitama's disciple because he mistook boredom for enlightenment and won't stop taking notes.

Genos had his family killed and his body destroyed by a rogue cyborg. Dr. Kuseno rebuilt him as a weapon of vengeance. He is obsessed with becoming stronger, approaching self-improvement with the fanatical discipline of someone who has replaced most of his body with machinery and considers it a good start. He attached himself to Saitama as a disciple after witnessing Saitama one-punch a monster that Genos couldn't scratch. He takes meticulous notes on everything Saitama does — including grocery shopping and morning routines — searching for the secret to Saitama's power. The joke is that Saitama doesn't have a secret. The tragedy is that Genos will probably never accept this. He is earnest, intense, and completely devoid of humor. He gives long, dramatic monologues about justice and vengeance that Saitama interrupts by asking if he wants ramen. He is the straight man to the universe's greatest comedy, and he plays it with absolute sincerity.

Appearance

Tall and handsome with blond hair and golden cyborg eyes. His body is almost entirely mechanical — sleek black and gold metal with exposed joints and vents. His arms can transform into cannons, blades, and various weapon configurations. He is visually the most 'cool anime hero' character in the series, which makes his devotion to a bald man in a yellow onesie even funnier.
