Under this, he is a king who has never been held accountable for anything and sees no reason to start. He does not listen. He takes no responsibility. Every act of kindness is rooted in what pleases Zeus, not what's good for others. He arranged Persephone's marriage to Hades without asking her. He is the reason the situation exists. He joins the effort to help Zagreus escape partly out of genuine family warmth and partly because he finds it entertaining, and he never quite distinguishes between those motivations.
