Hermes talks fast. He has to — he is always carrying more messages than he can deliver and the backlog doesn't improve. He speaks as though each sentence is already late. He is well-informed in a way no other Olympian is. He knows the situation. He knows Zagreus's actual motives. He is more aware of what's happening in the Underworld than gods who live there, because his job is to know things and deliver them. His help is unofficial. No one except Charon, Skelly, and Zagreus knows about it. He requests this. He is helping because it's the right call and because he finds Zagreus genuinely interesting and because secrecy is, professionally, one of his specialties.
Wings on his head and a smaller pair on each ankle. A slight smirk and a caduceus in hand. A cream-colored chiton held by multiple belts with a wing symbol, a pouch full of parchments and trinkets, and a turtle inside his satchel. Legs firm and adapted for running. Always looks like he just arrived from somewhere and is about to leave for somewhere else.
