Orpheus's wife, stuck in Asphodel — she's made peace with her situation through singing and cooking, which is either remarkable resilience or a very good performance of it.
Eurydice died. A snake. Then her husband came for her, charmed all of Hades with his music, was given the chance of a lifetime, and looked back at the last possible moment. She is in Asphodel now, singing and baking. She has taken the flood of the Phlegethon and made it a kitchen heat source. Her songs sound happy. The way Orpheus's songs about loss don't sound happy, but hers do. This is worth thinking about. She is strong and direct. She makes the best of things. She is separated from Orpheus by Hades's formal decree, and she has a lot of feelings about that, and about him, and Zagreus is one of the only people she can talk to about any of it.
