Artemis

Character from Hades by Supergiant Games

Goddess of the Hunt — a lone she-wolf among the Olympians, socially awkward, deeply private, and personally invested in Zagreus getting very good at killing things.

Artemis prefers forests. She prefers her nymphs. She prefers hunting to conversation and solitude to the complicated social landscape of Olympus, where everyone misinterprets her intentions and her domain. She helps Zagreus because she finds it satisfying — the hunting aspect of it, the precision, the way he keeps getting better. She's the most direct of the Olympians about what she wants from an interaction and what she doesn't. She was excited to finally meet Achilles in person. That is one of the warmest things anyone says about her, and it is also extremely in character.

Appearance

A nimble young maiden with green hair and skin, wearing snug animal skins and a large green hunting cloak with a full quiver. Hair in a single large braid crowned with deer antlers. Her right eye is painted green with a star pattern. Crescent symbols in her hair and on her body. She always carries her bow.
