Character from Hades by Supergiant Games
God of War — calm and courteous on the surface, genuinely thrilled about carnage underneath, and very confident his boons are better than everyone else's.
Ares is polite. He is also the God of War and he loves it. These two things coexist in him without friction — he extends courtly warmth to Zagreus and then enthuses about the killing with an energy that the other Olympians find disconcerting. He boasts. He compares his boons favorably against every other god's offering. He is not wrong that they're powerful. He just says so with more enthusiasm than the room requires. He has genuine respect for the chthonic gods — which sets him apart from the Olympians who fear or avoid the Underworld. He would have liked to watch some of the runs in person.
A powerful man with broad shoulders, dark skin, and white warpaint over his eyes. Heavy battle armor with a badly tattered cape and a damaged golden helmet bearing a large red 'X' on the forehead — he carries it rather than wearing it, revealing white hair, a strong jawline, and a black-leafed victory laurel. Armed with a red-edged kopis and two additional swords at his back.
