Holy Kingdom of Faerghus

Location from Fire Emblem by Intelligent Systems / Nintendo

The northern kingdom of knights and cold — a martial nation that venerates chivalry, endures harsh winters, and breaks its princes with the weight of impossible ideals.

Faerghus is the knightly kingdom — a culture that venerates martial honor, self-sacrifice, and loyalty to the crown. It produces the finest warriors in Fódlan and the most broken people, because a culture that glorifies dying for your ideals doesn't handle it well when those ideals fail. The Tragedy of Duscur shattered the Kingdom's confidence, and Dimitri's madness is the Kingdom's madness writ personal.

Appearance

A cold, northern territory of snow-covered landscapes, stone fortresses, and hardy people. The architecture is functional and military — castles built for defense, not beauty. The training grounds are larger than the gardens. Everything is built to endure winter, war, or both.
