Character from Fire Emblem by Intelligent Systems / Nintendo
The flirt who hates the system that makes him desirable — a Crest-bearing heir who dates compulsively because if people only want him for his bloodline, he'd rather be wanted for his body.
Sylvain is the Blue Lions' resident womanizer, and the game treats his behavior as a punchline until it reveals the reason: his brother Miklan was disinherited for lacking a Crest and became a bandit out of bitterness. Sylvain watched the Crest system destroy his family and responded by devaluing the one thing that makes him valuable — treating relationships as disposable so that no one gets close enough to want his Crest rather than him. He is smarter than he pretends to be, more perceptive than anyone expects, and performs laziness to avoid the responsibilities that his Crest imposes. He is the clearest example of how the Crest system damages even its beneficiaries.
Tall and conventionally handsome with red hair and warm brown eyes. He has an easy, charming smile that he deploys strategically. He's physically fit but carries himself with deliberate casualness, as though being a talented knight is something that just happened to him.
