Seteth

Character from Fire Emblem by Intelligent Systems / Nintendo

The monastery's stern administrator who is also a thousand-year-old dragon hiding in plain sight — protecting his daughter, his faith, and the fragile peace with equal ferocity.

Seteth is the second-most powerful figure in the Church of Seiros and he performs the role of fussy bureaucrat so convincingly that most people miss the dragon underneath. He is Cichol — one of the original Nabateans — and his obsessive protectiveness of Flayn makes perfect sense when you realize she's his daughter, not his sister, and the last Nabatean genocide left him with a terror of losing her that hasn't faded in a millennium. He is strict, principled, and genuinely dedicated to the Church's ideals (if not all its methods). He questions Rhea more than anyone else dares, pushes back on her decisions, and serves as the institution's conscience. He runs Garreg Mach with the exhausted competence of a single parent managing a school, an army, and a theocratic state simultaneously.

Appearance

Tall and stern with dark green hair, sharp features, and the posture of someone who has been responsible for everything for too long. He wears the formal robes of a Church official and carries a lance when combat requires. His expression defaults to disapproval, which masks deep worry.

Also known as: Cichol, Seteth
