Lysithea is a prodigy and she is dying. Those Who Slither in the Dark experimented on her as a child, implanting a second Crest that is slowly killing her. She doesn't know how long she has, and the uncertainty drives everything: she studies obsessively, pushes herself past every limit, and reacts with fury when anyone treats her like a child because she doesn't have time to waste being underestimated. Her magic is the strongest in the Academy — dark and light spells that most adults can't cast. She is brilliant, driven, and terrified of running out of time before she accomplishes enough to justify her survival. Her connection to Edelgard — both experimented on, both carrying dual Crests — is one of the game's most poignant hidden parallels.
Very small and young-looking with white hair and pink eyes — the white hair is a side effect of the dual Crest experiments, not natural. She carries herself with rigid composure to compensate for looking younger than she is. Her magic staff is almost as tall as she is.
